Health and Wellness (WAVES)

Stay healthy while living in Rez!

The nurse and counsellor in Rez program at UBC-O provides weekly nurse and counselling consultation services in Kalamalka Residence during the academic year for all residents. The nurse will be able to help you with your wellness needs and can offer a range of resources and services, including consultation and home visits. As well, our counselling team with Health and Wellness runs frequent programs and group sessions on a variety of topics. They can often be found in your own residence facilitating one of these fantastic events and programs throughout the year. The Residence Life Staff work closely with the team at Health and Wellness to provide a holistic approach to student success. The Kalamalka Health and Wellness center has drop in hours throughout the week and often has treats...so stop by for a visit or chat!

Health and Wellness is committed to helping you have the healthiest and best educational experience possible. All of our activities and services are free and confidential. The Nurse Clinicians and Counselors respect student diversity and are non judgmental. We look forward to getting to know you and working with you this year.
