Priority Access 2012-2013
Application for residence is separate from your application for admission to UBC.
Don't miss your opportunity. To qualify for priority access, we must receive your residence application and all supporting documents by May 1, 2012.
Priority Access to residence is offered based on availability. Students receiving priority access are generally offered a place in Totem Park, Place Vanier, Marine Drive (Bldgs 5), Ritsumeikan-UBC House, Fairview Crescent or Walter Gage. If your residence preference cannot be met, you will be assigned elsewhere.
The criteria for the First Year Guarantee are as follows:
You are eligible for the first year guarantee if:
- Your residence application and all supporting documents are received by May 1, 2012, and
- You receive and accept UBC's offer of academic admission by June 1, 2012
- PLUS one of the following:
- You are entering directly from high school or CEGEP and graduated in 2011 or plan to graduate in 2012. Or
- You are a newly-admitted first-or second year international undergraduate student (excluding post baccalaureate degree programs).
Your guarantee is a shared or single room in Totem Park or Place Vanier, based on availability.

- You are a newly-admitted Aboriginal student
- You are participating in one of the following reciprocal university student exchange programs:
