Meal Plan
Secure! Flexible! Convenient! Manage your own budget! The Meal Plan is designed for residents living in Similkameen Place, Cassiar, Kalamalka, Nicola,Valhalla and Purcell because there are no cooking facilities in these residences. The minimum convenient meal plan payment for these residents who are staying the full academic year is $2,755.00. For Meal Plans and Rates click here.

The minimum Meal Plan commitment is $2,755.00. Unused balance that have not met the minimum $2,755.00 spent are refunded at 66% less the HST payable. Once the minimum $2,755.00 is spent, the remaining balance is refunded at 100%. A 34% non-refundable portion of your Meal Plan is required to pay for the cost of making quality food services available for residents at convenient times. Please review the Residence Contract for details regarding the terms of the meal plan.
HST is not charged to any meal plan purchases at the till based on the minimum commitment of $2,755.00 spent during the academic year. Should the entire commitment of $2,755.00 not be utilized, the HST payable portion will be deducted from the refund.
Refunds are initiated when you leave residence via the check-out process by means of the same payment method (eg: payments made by credit card will be refunded by credit card). Click here for Meal Plan Refund form.
Monashee, Cascades and Upper Cascades students have their own kitchen facilities, however, a Voluntary Plan is available to them if they would like to enjoy the convenience of the card. Any student living in Monashee, Lower Cascades, Upper Cascades or off campus can have a Voluntary Plan. Please refer to http://www.ubco.campusdish.com
