Acadia Park Facilities

Visit the Commonsblock for a wide range of activities, programs and services designed to assist you in your studies, raising your family and provide recreation and fun, too! There are plenty of convenient laundry facilities located throughout Acadia Park.

The Commonsblock

The Commonsblock at 2707 Tennis Crescent, houses the Residence Life Manager (RLM) and the Building Services Manager (BSM), the fitness room, fireside lounge and activity room.

At the Front Desk

The Front Desk staff serve residents of Acadia Park and Fairview Crescent. The Front Desk is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week by Residence Attendants (RAs), and is managed by the Residence Front Desk Services Coordinator (RFDSC) Greg Ursic, and the phone number is 604.822.3172.

The Front Desk staff are glad to help, so don't hesitate to ask for assistance. If they are not able to assist or proivde the information needed, they'll connect you with others who can.

Specific services provided by the Front Desk Staff include:
  • issuing keys to new residents and receiving key's from departing residents
  • supporting community security
  • loaning keys to locked-out residents
  • loaning available equipment to residents
  • receiving rent payments
  • receiving maintenance requests
  • providing residence community service and program information
  • parking management
