Living in residence gives you an opportunity to develop important social and academic support networks-it's a great way to start your university experience.We offer on campus residence housing to almost 1,700 students.

If you choose one of our on-campus residences, you'll find everything you need for studying, recreation and hanging out at your fingertips: the library, learning commons and computer labs, work-out facilities, basketball and volleyball courts, hiking and cycling trails, student lounges, cafés and food services. There's also a campus health centre with counsellors and nurses on staff full-time. Our dedicated and knowledgeable residence staff members act as resources for students; offering support but not supervision, caring but not control.

Residence Advisors assist students in their transition to university, promote safety and security, and coordinate educational and recreation activities throughout the academic year. You can find out how to repair your bike, team up for a volleyball tournament or learn to study more effectively... all without leaving your new home.

Our residences include internet access. Our residences have study lounges, and are steps away from the campus library, learning commons and computer labs.

Sociable
It's easy to get to know people and make new friends. TV lounges are great places for relaxing and socializing. Residence Advisors coordinate regular social and recreation events for residents.

Sustainable
Sure, we try to go easy on the environment. But we also strive to create a sustainable residence community as well: the Leaders Engaged in Action and Discovery (LEAD) initiative promotes student leadership opportunities within the residence system. Various volunteer positions let students gain valuable leadership experience that can be applied to academic and career pursuits.
