Commuter Student Hostel

UBC Student Housing and Hospitality Service is offering commuter students affordable overnight accommodation to support their academic success and involvement in campus co-curricular activities. CSH is available:

• September 16 to December 18, 2012
• January 2 to April 24, 2013
• Reservations not available for Sunday evenings proceeding a holiday Monday, except during exam periods.
• CSH guests are able to book a room for a maximum of 2 nights in a 7-day period.
• CSH is available to current UBC commuter students only.
• The rate is $30/night including taxes.

• Each CSH room accommodates one student only.
• CSH units offer 8 single rooms (with twin XL bed and desk/chair), and share a comfortable lounge, equipped kitchenette and two bathrooms.
• Each unit is single-gender. Bed and bath linens and basic toiletries (i.e. shampoo, soap) provided.
• CSH rooms equipped with ResNet; bring your own Ethernet cable.

• Same-day bookings available only before 5pm.
• CSH guests are able to book a room for a maximum of 2 nights in a 7-day period.
• CSH guests are responsible for familiarizing themselves with and adhering to the CSH Agreement. These are the standards of conduct required of all students who live in or visit residence.
• CSH guests are welcome to participate in residence events during their stay.

• On-line CSH reservations only.
• Regrets - email, phone, or in-person reservations not available.
• Reservations for the CSH will be available in late-August 2012
• CSH guests must use a credit card to reserve a room on line, although may choose to pay in cash at check-in.
• Check-in after 3pm; Check-out at 11 am.
• Overnight parking available for an additional fee of $9.00 (as availability permits). Parking permit valid 3 pm to 11 am only.

Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance. Failure to cancel in the required time period will result in a charge for the night-stay.
